Welcome

This is my favourite time of year

Hey friends, it's my pleasure to host you this year in Sydney for Senior Ministers Conference 2026.

It's remarkable how quickly this time comes around each year, and more so the multitude of things that happen behind the scenes for us all, both in life and ministry.

We all go to conferences. We all have a multitude of different inputs. But personally, the time we spend together in this space is the richest time in my ministry year. Leadership can be lonely, and there's nothing like the safe common space we all hold together.

I'm grateful for the commitment we all have to one another to spend this time together, to listen, to discern and to speak God's words over each other, wherever you may be at this year. My prayer is that our time together will be one of refilling and refuelling by the Holy Spirit and the time we share.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
Sam

The room

A small room, on purpose

We meet at Northside's Crows Nest campus. Everyone hears from everyone, sharing over content, with space to be honest about the wins and the weights of leading. Worship and ministry frame the days, and there's real time to rest and enjoy Sydney together.
